What Relavo is

Relavo is a software service provided by Relavo LLC, a Utah limited liability company. The platform enables licensed dental practices to record short video summaries of patient visits and deliver them to patients via SMS, supporting post-appointment communication and care continuity.

Who may use the service

Relavo is intended for use by licensed dental practices and their authorized staff operating within the United States. By using the service, you represent that your practice holds the appropriate licenses required to provide dental care in your jurisdiction.

Individual patients do not create accounts with Relavo. Patients receive communications through their dental provider's use of the platform.

Acceptable use

Relavo may only be used for legitimate post-visit patient communication directly related to dental care provided by your practice. You agree not to use the platform to send unsolicited messages, spam, promotional content, or communications unrelated to a patient's dental appointment or treatment.

Any use of the platform to contact individuals who have not received care from your practice, or who have not been entered into the system in connection with an actual visit, is strictly prohibited.

Patient consent and your responsibility

Your dental practice is responsible for obtaining appropriate patient consent before using Relavo to communicate with patients. This includes any consent required under applicable federal or state laws governing healthcare communications, patient privacy, and electronic messaging.

Relavo provides the delivery infrastructure; we are not responsible for ensuring that individual practices have obtained the consent required in their jurisdiction. If you are unsure what consent is required, consult qualified legal counsel before using the service.

SMS opt-out

All patients who receive SMS messages through Relavo may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Upon doing so, they will receive no further messages through our platform. Reply HELP for assistance.

By using Relavo to contact patients via SMS, your practice acknowledges that recipients' continued engagement constitutes agreement to receive transactional SMS messages related to their dental appointments and care.

No warranties

Relavo is currently in an early access and pilot phase. The service is provided as-is and as available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice, during this early stage of development.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Relavo LLC and its members, officers, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or harm arising from patient communications sent through the platform.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Relavo in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Utah.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after updated terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the changes.
